Really enjoyed my stay here. I was greeted really warmly by Josh who showed me to my lovely room.
He also then looked after me really well in the bar with good banter and excellent service.
My food was delicious and again served with really good service. There was an awesome atmosphere in the bar (on a Wednesday evening).
The Wi-Fi was strong which is a bonus when working away.
Breakfast was equally lovely.
Will definitely stay here again when working locally.

Absolutely lovely stay at The Royal oak. Beautifully decorated throughout, with a really warm and homely feel. Staff were welcoming, dinner and breakfast were first-class and my room was spotlessly clean with a great bathroom and comfy bed. Would definitely return, I stayed for work but it would be a lovely place for a weekend away.

You'll receive timely updates on price drops or room availability, making it easier to secure a last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could potentially help you find better rates for your stay in a Marlborough hotel. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer improved value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more economical, helping you to discover a more favourable deal.
Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience but often comes with higher expenses. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and ease of access to the sights you intend to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which can offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
