This place is an absolute gem. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The amenities there were fantastic (including biscuits and homemade cakes always available). The staff were an absolute joy, always cheerful, showing an interest in you and your itinerary, as well as letting you know some fantastic local places to visit. And the breakfasts, well........... OMG. This is a must place to stay. 5*
Very quiet location, family room was great for us with two growing children. Perfect place to get a good nights sleep on a tour of the south of ireland
Great stay and a wonderful place. It's not a buffet breakfast so it can be a bit slow but that suits the pace of the place. Should perhaps leave butter, jam and marmalade on the tables. That's a fine critique but every little helps.
Great hotel with very friendly staff.
Good-sized double bedroom over looking the river.
Good variety of breakfast choices and staff ran the operation efficiently.
Good food available in the evening in the bar.
Eady access to parking.
Short distance to walk to shops and museums.
Would recommend and certainly return.
Stayed only one night. Great old accommodation in need of some maintenance. We had a lovely meal in the evening and a great breakfast in the morning. we had a pleasant walk in the extensive grounds.
Spent the first 3 nights of our honeymoon in the Granville and loved pretty much everything about it. The hotel is old and very grand - very slightly showing some signs of age in some places in the room, but that mostly added to the charm.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Pretty good value for the quality of the hotel.
Modern hotel in an excellent location. Room was spotlessly clean with a big, comfortable bed and plenty of room. Huge bathroom with a waterfall shower. Friendly and helpful staff and lovely food in the restaurant. Reasonable bar prices. Couldnt fault it and had a great stay
We had a warm welcome from Pauline and Chris who were throughout great hosts - happy to help with local visits and places to eat. A lovely setting on a useful through route just 35 minutes from the port.
We had a fantastic stay at the cabins! Cabin is a decent size with basic facilities, but that's all we needed!
There is a kettle, microwave, tableware and no toiletries, but that wasn't a problem as we had our own. Despite being in a camping site is a lovely and quiet area, with a tennis court and a small playground for kids.
Ww will definitely be back at some stage as we all loved thos little gem! 💖
The service in this hotel is warm friendly and efficient. The rooms are up to date spotless and comfortable.
The only fault is the corridors which are dated and cold. So give the wrong impression.
Breakfast good too.
lovely views, awesome setting, they were fabulous with the kids, food great and spa and swimming pool awesome. Best breakfast, buffet with cooked also that I have ever had, free for kids
