We had a lovely relaxing time, although when using Google we thought we could get to places easily by public transport but this isn't the case, so make sure you can drive or have a rental car. The buses were very unreliable (none on Sundays) but the staff were helpful in providing bus times or booking a taxi. Breakfast is included & you get continental with a cooked breakfast which really helps start your day off. There is a pool bar & food is available until 3pm (really recommend the paninis,...

We stayed 2 nights visiting Pompei and the Amalfi coast. The Sant Angelo hotel and spa is perfecty placed to visit both, with the hotel situated 30 minutes by car from each. The room we had was a good size for a family of 4 with amazing direct views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. It was quiet and restful, with swimming pool and good aircon to help escape the heat. Staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay memorable and made a very good recommendation for a place to...

We had a lovely holiday. A beautiful hotel with beautiful views. The food in the restaurant was wonderful. My daughter has celiac and there were plenty of gluten free options for her. The staff were all very accommodating and the service was very good. It would have been more comfortable in the room if there was a ceiling fan and a fridge to keep drinks cool, but overall the room was good and the bathroom was very nice and modern.

The Hotel Margherita was recommended to us by a friend who visited last year and I am delighted to say that we found that his glowing report was not an exaggeration.
On arrival the friendly staff came out, took the luggage up to the room and parked the car in the garage. We had booked a room with a sea view and on reaching our room we were greeted with a delightful panoramic view of the coast and the surrounding headland. Our air conditioned room was tastefully decorated, and with the full...

Our stay in this hotel was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were great with lots of information about the locality including some great tips on where to eat without spending a fortune, and the best way to get around.
The room was lovely and airy with images of the village over the years adorning the walls which gave it that personal touch.
Breakfast options were continental or American and the team were very attentive to our requests.

Fabulous holiday at this brilliant hotel where everything was to our liking including staff, pool, room and restaurant only minor issue would be that the wi-fi only seems to work in the reception area, but this really did not matter in the least. Amalfi is a great destination and this surely is the best hotel in town!

After the stressful drive on the scenic route round the peninsula, arriving at the hotel was such a relief. The owner was very helpful and the room was perfect. Spotless, well-appointed and wonderfully quiet. I had emailed ahead and asked for some fresh flowers for my girlfriend and the bouquet was exquisite.
Reading other reviews here, wish we had eaten at the hotel restaurant, as the others in the cove are a bit same-y and quite expensive for what you get. The cave bar at Pirata is not to...

We had a deluxe suite which gave us lots of room, a fabulous view and our own terrace. The mini bar was well stocked and very reasonably priced. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful; checking in was easy and they arranged professional transfers to and from Ravello. The breakfasts had everything we could have expected. The centre of Ravello is about 10 minutes'walk, mostly uphill, which might not suit everyone; an 85 year old relative also stayed in the same hotel and gamely completed...
