Located on the mainland and not the islands, but ideal if you need parking and prefer day trips in. €20 for a day pass which includes bus & tram to the islands (30 minutes and very easy) and also includes water taxis all day. The local area is also loaded with amazing restaurants which are much, much cheaper than the islands and possibly some of the best food I have ever had! The hotel itself is amazing. Contacted hotel and emailed request for Shuttle bus to pick us up at the airport (6 euros pp) they emailed all the necessary info to me regarding meeting point at airport. Check in great, went straight to our rooms. Was able to purchase travel passes at hotel (40 euros for 3 days pp on all modes of transport, we maxed then out and went over to several islands on the vaporetto) and they provided timetable information. We stayed here first week in June 2014 for our Silver Wedding Anniversary. Hotel was fantastic. A beautiful setting away from busy Venice. Train station only about a 20 minute walk from hotel and journey takes about 25mins to get to Venice. Hotel offers a taxi service to and from train station and also airport. Staff were extremely helpful. You also have a use of free bikes to cycle around the town. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

staying at Ai Pini for our Venice visit was the best choice we made. It is very close to airport Marco Polo as well as very easy to get in to the Venice. Staff was excellent from the moment of arrival to the leaving. They would help you with any of your needs with very high care. The first day we were late and the the Hotel Restaurant was closed. Just returned back yesterday and we are extremely pleased with our Staycity apartment, we were one of the first guests to arrive as hotel officially opened a day before our arrival. We had a one bed room apartment and everything provided was of good standard. The self catering kitchen was well equipped, in addition the apartment had good size LCD TV with builtin Netflix, iron with ironing board, hair dryer and a locker. Very pleased with this Hotel. We stayed 7-14 March. Very clean, spacious bedroom, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with good shower. We chose the smaller (€4) breakfast of 2 croissants and coffee. The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable, offering everything needed after long days of sightseeing.
