Beautiful B &B in the centre of Grasmere
This is our 2nd time here and Jim and Jenny are the best hosts. It's a beautiful house, right by the river. Very comfortable with delicious breakfasts.

Beck Allan’s Guest House was outstanding. Accommodation was excellent and Jenny and Jim were perfect hosts. Breakfast was exceptional as was Jenny’s baking (loved the orange and poppy seed cake). Can’t wait to return and hope to be back soon.

Excellent value for money
Two day midweek stay. Friendly hosts set in a quiet picturesque location. Rooms are clean & tidy with an excellent free WiFi signal. Very good breakfast. A good selection of maps are available if your into hiking. Without doubt, excellent value for money & we will definitely be back in the not to distant future.

This was our first stay at Beck Allans Guesthouse with Jenny and Jim.
What an absolute gem of a find.
The guesthouse was fantastic, spotlessly clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was one of the best we have had, all locally sourced quality produce and Jenny and Jim are brilliant hosts who could not have been more friendly and hospitable.
The only negative was we had to come home.
We will definitely be returning very soon and would not hesitate to recommend the guesthouse to anyone

Fantastic accommodation in the centre of Grasmere
Jim and Jenny are fantastic hosts. Very friendly and considerate. Breakfast was superbly cooked and very filling, using the best produce. The bedroom had plenty of storage space and had the most comfortable bed. The location is slap in the middle of Grasmere. They recommended places to eat. We went to Tweedies, which was pricey but good food. We would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Jan & Jim our hosts were wonderful. The accommodations were roomy & comfortable. Grasmere is a wonderful place to stay in the Lake District and Beck Allens is nicely located in Grasmere. Enjoyed hearing the sound of the nearby creek from our guest house.

I stayed with Jim and Jenny here as my friends were at The Inn in Grasmere. As a single traveler I took the smaller double room. This was perfect for me, clean, tidy and super quiet looking over to the garden. The best bit of the room was the amazingly comfortable bed. What I enjoyed most was the wonderful hospitality-Jim and Jenny are a true team and nothing too much trouble. They make superb scrambled egg with chrizio too! Great value for money, brilliant location right in the centre and near the bus stop for onward travel in Lakes - would definitely recommend and stay again!

Simple fabulous, Jenny and Jim make you feel so welcome, Thier local knowledge of walks is really helpful. My husband has dietary requirements and Jenny went out of her way to accommodate him even baking a special cake for him, can’t recommend highly enough
