We stayed at this atmospheric pub while visiting Blickling Hall, which is literally opposite. Fantastic location, comfortable room and excellent food. Very friendly staff. Would definitely go again.

Nice country Pub.
Traditional country pub located very close to Blickling Hall (NT). Parking was plentiful and easy. We were welcomed and efficiently dealt with. Our room (No.1) was a bit tired looking but reasonably equipped, tidy and quite clean, although the carpet looked a bit dirty. The heating system seemed a bit hit and miss, it was working when we arrived but we could not get it to work on the second day. There was however a 'backup' portable heater.
Breakfasts were good but not exceptional except for the size which were excessively large. We also had evening meals which were quite good in terms of quality but again the portion sizes were excessive. The B&B price was reasonable and the food good value. We would be happy to return.

the staff were friendly and helpful.Food was excellent especially the Giant breakfast!Loved the building and location and right next to Blickling Hall.Fantastic room no3 overlooking the hall.Great outdoor space and beer garden,Not so good if the weather is bad as there;s only a small but cozy snug to have a pre or post dinner drink.Overall a fantastic place to stay ,would definitley go again.

The position of the bucks is gorgeous.
Next to blickling hall .
The staff are always friendly and attentive. Nothing is too much for them. Food is delicious and portions more than generous . Always love visiting

Bags of Character
A quaint inn, ousing character, on the edge of the National Trust’s Blickling Estate in the Norfolk countryside. If you’re looking for a chain hotel with all the usual features - this is not it. I would happily stop here again.

Over-all everywhere is very clean and to a good standard. My only comment would be that the tile grout needs refreshing as some areas are black.
Food is excellent and large servings. Staff are helpful and pleasant. This will have been my fifth stay and i have always had excellent service.

Our stay at The Bucks Arms
Just back from a lovely stay at The Bucks arms.
We were visiting Blickling Hall and the local area and decided to base ourselves there.
The staff were all excellent, very accommodating, polite, welcoming and friendly. We ate breakfast and dinner there too and the food was great quality and generous size (but too much for me lol).
The room was a good size and was just right for what we and our canine companion needed.
Would defiantly return if/when back that way.

Lovely 2 night stay.
My husband & myself have just spent 2 nights at The Buck Arms,very nice place,next door to Bickling Hall,unfortunately the weather wasn't that good so didn't walk around Bickling Hall.
The staff were so friendly & couldn't do enough for you,always had a smile on their faces.
The room was cosy,bed very comfortable,tea,coffee facilities offered in the room.
The breakfast was fantastic,with so many choices to choose from.
I throughly recommend an evening meal here,the food was one of the best we have had in ages,& so much to choose from.
We will certainly be returning when we next visit North Norfolk.

Bucks Arms
We have stayed at the Bucks several times and will return . Beautiful location overlooking Blickling Estate, with lakeside walks on the doorstep .Amazing friendly , helpful staff who go over and above . Food delicious but beware of large portions ! Comfortable, clean rooms.

Great accomodation and magnificent breakfast
This is the second time we have stayed. The sta were very friendly and helpful. The room was great and very quiet. The breakfast is the best of any I tried…you won’t need any lunch. I would definitely recommend it.

From the minute you check in all the staff are incredibly friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We were delighted with the standard of service on our first visit and it has never dropped below excellent
No matter what time of year we have stayed the food has always been fantastic in quality and quantity, using fresh seasonal ingredients
I can not praise enough everything about staying at the Buckinghamshire Arms

Good range of beers.
Location for Blickling hall great, location in the area also good.
Breakfast choice limited but food was brilliant .
Only real downside was bedroom furniture was dated but this did not detract from the overall stay.
