There are not many hotels in this area to choose from so out of what’s available, this could be your best option. The lady who checked me in was very kind and pleasant. The room was clean but needs repairs badly. Towel rack was coming out of the wall, lots of rusty areas around the tub and on the floor, and the towels were stained. Overall, this hotel is older and has been well used and needs a major overhaul. The bed was clean and comfortable. The fridge was nice and cold. I did not use the free breakfast so I can’t give an opinion. The room entrances are on the outside not in halls so be prepared for extra outside noise. It wasn’t horrible but I’ll probably not stay there again and drive to a larger close by city for accommodations.

It was a nice small pool to use that was old but clean. Thats where the clean part eneded. I wouldnt recommend staying . Im not going to write all the stuff that was not cleaned or stained. I just wouldnt stay again ever.

Old facility, phones and fire alarms were defective, fire alarm chirped repeatedly and had to be replaced.
Room next door had a belligerent tenant and police came and removed him.

Smelled. Shower didn't work. Smoke alarm ripped off the wall. Very little oversized vehicle parking. Lamps had rust on them.

they only had a smokers room and the reality is we couldn't even walk into the room.
the smell was overwhelming.
we had to leave.
the lady at the front desk was nice enough to understand and cancelled the reservation.
we ended up going somewhere else.

both comforters had burn holes. Carpet was dirty. Tub was slippery (almost fell a few times). Frozen water bottle in freezer. Tape over vent in bathroom. Smoke came from other room thru the vent. Railing in swimming pool was not bolted down. Cut grass was mowed into pool area and pool. Toilet ran and was able to be moved.

Condition of Room 105 Readsville, N.C.
The following conditions need your attention ASAP. 1)Only 1 bolt holding toilet seat in place. 2) Stopper valve on toilet leaks causing toilet to refill tank every 2 hours. 3) Basin requires reaching behind sink to close drain plug in sink.
4) Smoke detector does not exist. Electric box on wall has bare wires sticking out where the detector should be. (Code infraction)

The property is average and outdated. The staff is friendly but unreliable. I called to let the hotel know I would be checking in later than their normal check in time. The gentleman that answered the phone took my info and said it was fine. When I got to the hotel they had me as a no show and cancelled my reservation. The clerk refused to accommodate my prior reservation and said she had to make another reservation for me. I had to pay again even though it wasn’t my fault.

We reserved a non smoking room. At check-in we were told that Hotel.com changed our reservation to smoking. There were not any other rooms available. We checked the room, it was a nightmare, the furniture was shredded, it was and smelled dirty. We told the management that we could not stay in that room and we left.

The room we were in a patch was coming down in the bathroom ceiling. The towels looked old and dingy. Some guy who I assumed lived there knocked on our door to hand us 1 towel. It sort of freaked me out because my husband had ran down to the car and we hadn't requested the 1 towel.

Okay if need a somewhere to sleep for 1 night
The shower didn’t turn on. The hotel needs lots of upgrades it very old and dingy looking in the bathrooms due to lack of upkeep and maintenance. I would not stay there again. The positives are pool, breakfast the room wa clean no bugs.

Need alot more attention to detail in all areas of cleanliness. Outside and in the rooms Bug spatter on the ceiling above bed walls has handprints and dirty marks. Mold on ceiling above closet area. Bathroom floor had stains

Quiet and clean!
Was definitely a little ify after reading some reviews, but all in all it was clean and comfortable. The room was a little on the small side, but it was better than expected. Please do not get caught up in the reviews, you will be pleasantly surprised with this place.
