Quiet little place near the beach. Hotel is on the older side and could use a face lift. Room was clean but they missed the balcony. There was food all over the place, had to ask the housekeeper for a broom so we could sweep it up.

The view was spectacular, and the beds have new mattresses. The hotel is old; they haven't remodeled it, but it's clean. The only complaint was that the area around the bathtub was very dirty and covered in mold. A good stay. I was traveling with my husband and two children.

I decided to give 3 stars for the following reasons... on night one, two people entered my room while I was in there. They apologized but didnt say anything else. Started out rocky with check in with issues beyond their control. Manager/owner was quick to help resolve the issue. Outside of that the stay and staff are amazing. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. So much to do at the resort. Already planning the next trip back this year.

I liked that it was on the water & was quite but the room had an oder that smelled like mildew in the air system that didnt go away no matter what I did & i used a diffuser, sprayed like crazy- including vents but it just stunk, then the carpet in the beroom was extremely old & gross, the first room we were sent to was still dirty they thought it had been cleaned, then the second room they got us in stunk & was very outdated, hope they remodel because the place would be amazing if so

This place is horrible! We got to the first room the bed was not made! The next room smelled like mildew, had roaches and at 11pm some kids decided to play ding ding ditch on our floor! We decided at 11:45pm to just leave and find another hotel to stay in! Never again will we go back to Marina Bay Resort!!!!

There are sand in bedsheets. Floor carpet is very wet by our bed. Coffee maker is not clean. No WiFi connection. One thing scares us is there are two girls knocked on our door at 2:28am asking us to open the door for them. Next day when we talk to the staff in front desk, they said they saw those girls a couple of times.

This property is located on the bay with beautiful views. I would have given 5 stars, but check in was quite an ordeal. The manager could not be found, and had left an employee there to run things who had just started that day. Her and the housekeeper were having to check people in, It seems the new management that took over has some work to do. It took 45 minutes and people were all standing around waiting for someone to walk and check their room to make sure it had been cleaned. The ladies were very kind and apologetic. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Love this property! Will return.

Great Little Place w Big Character

I have stayed here multiple times over the last 10 years. The property is under new management with lots of new improvements. Staff is always welcoming and professional. Rooms are inviting and the entire property has that "old Florida" feel to it which is hard to find in a world of high rises and hotel chains.
