Southern hospitality at its best

Dinsmore is a sweet taste of southern hospitality. The rooms are all clean and beautiful. Ours has a fireplace and lots of light. The bed is a four poster with the softest linens. The manager greeted us and showed us a hospitality are of the building with complimentary coffee waters. They have an extensive collection of wine for sale. The breakfast was the very best we’ve had, again complimentary. This was an overnight stay for us on our way to Nortu Carolina and I can’t recommend it enough

Lovely Historic Inn

The Dinsmore is centrally located in the heart of Charlottesville within walking distance to everything. It is a beautifully appointed Inn, the room was very nicely decorated, linens and bed were a dream. Veda is a treasure and took care of all our needs and was also very helpful in reservations and dining suggestions. She keeps the Inn ticking and is a lot of fun.

A charming historic property with thoughtful, engaging hosts. My room was just gorgeous, furnished with antiques and an incredibly comfortable bed. The bathroom was equipped w/ both a walk-in shower and a huge old-fashioned bathtub (a must for me). And the breakfast was beyond delicious, with choices, hot and cold, to suit every taste. I could not recommend this place more highly.
