Rooms themselves are clean, comfortable, nicely furnished. The bar, restaurant and reception areas are a bit dowdy and not an upgrade. The breakfast buffet was a bit limited and presented haphazardly.

I could move in....
Fantastic stay at the Angel in beautiful Corbridge. The staff were lovely, the food great, and we and our dogs were made to feel very welcome indeed. Can't wait to return to this wonderful hotel, in a truly fabulous part of Northumberland.

Comfy well situated hotel
Very enjoyable stay, lovely hotel, well situated in the town, close to everything. Reasonable drink and food prices, friendly staff and a comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent and made to order. Downsides - The toilet seat in our bathroom was knackered though and looked like it should have been replaced some time back! (Room7)

Lovely clean room with everything you need. Nice big shower. Radiator boiling hot all night, so even with the windows wide open, had a terrible sleep. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Horrible smell of sewers in the car park.

Disappointing Stay
The hotel rooms were very poor with old beds, filthy carpets and a toilet seat that did not fit. Clearly the owner was not interested in the guests experience. The food was ok but the bar where you eat was again very dirty

Breakfast was good lots of choice
Staff were lovely and efficient
Family room was disappointing no windows to speak of very dark. Very small for a family room. We were given dressing gowns which were really helpful

Hadrian's Wall Trip
Room had only a small window, so not a lot of natural light, but had an air-conditioning unit so was not hot or stuffy. It also had a PS3 with a separate Screen, that the kids loved. Food for breakfast ( included in room rate) and dinner was great quality and reasonably priced, if a little limited.
30 mins travel to Hadrian's wall and museums, and a lovely bakery just down the road, for stuff for lunch.

Very pleasant overall. The dinner was excellent but rather expensive. Corbridge cafes etc are expensive as it is a bit of a honey pot. The hotel cost was fine but there was little shower gel in the shower and no soap for the sink area.. I also had to ask for a hairdryer.

Reasonable value for money. Dinner was good. Staff were a bit surly and not particularly friendly. Room was fairly clean and tidy but basic. the hotel needs a makeover as it feels tired (the seat cover in the dining room was ripped; furniture marked; toilets smelly).

Needs updating
Vey tired hotel. Filthy carpet throughout lounge area and stairs to room. Rooms were tired looking but warm and comfortable. Staff friendly but perhaps over-worked as breakfast tables missing butter, menus etc. Fruit salad would be better taken off the menu as only a small bowl and looked old. Did not eat there and neither did many other people by the look of it although the restaurants we ate in town were busy.

Great food, excellent staff and comfortable room
The staff were excellent - really helpful and friendly. The food was delicious - we had a few sides & dessert in the evening, then the breakfast next morning - everything was delicious, really well cooked and the service was great. The room was comfortable and clean (and our little one loved the bunk beds for a family room)

The bedroom was modern, well styled and comfortable.
Cooked breakfast was nice and you could have what you wanted but the buffet was a bit basic and as I have food intolerances was not catered for.
The main hotel areas are a bit tired
has lots of potential to be excellent but think it needs some cosmetic upgrades.
Found internet access difficult in rooms tried to sign in several times without luck.
Car park was good and was a popular bar and food place at night.
Everything shuts at 10pm so is quiet and great for a nights rest
Corbridge is a lovely wee town

The shower was blocked.
There was no milk for tea and coffee.
Couldn't check in till 3pm and were chucked out at 10am.
Worst of all the breakfast was cold eggs were overdone.
There was no butter or hardly any bread.
There was no extra plates and no tea was offered .
All in all breakfast was poor.
