Hemlock Inn was charming! Situated steps away from the lovely shopping area of downtown Blowing Rock. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with private parking adjacent to the door of the room. The room was clean and tastefully decorated in "mountain hemlock" style. Bedding was clean an comfy with ample pillows and blankets. The fire pit gazebo was a lovely site where we met other guests for conversation after dinner. I wouldn't hesitate to stay on future visits and recommend it hightly.

This is our favorite lodging in Blowing Rock. All of the shops and restuarants are within easy walking distance. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated and the staff are friendly and courteous. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Cute cottage near everything
The location is wonderful. The the hotel is very cute. The front desk staff is super friendly. However, when something dropped under the furniture and bed, I was disappointed about the lack of cleanliness. The mattress also seemed to need replacing.

Great location but even with air purifier and AC on high, mildew smell in bathroom was inescapable. Also door had glass at the top that was curtained with sheer fabric which meant that the room was bathed in orange light all night, really unpleasant. Service was cursory-no ‘how was your stay’ just ‘drop off your parking pass’.

The Hemlock Inn was everything we were looking for in Blowing Rock! Quaint mountain feel.. The owners were very nice & accommodating. It was just off Main St within walking distance to shops & restaurants. Very enjoyable stay & we will be back.

Stay. The room was clean the bed comfy. The extra touches of coffee mugs and wine glasses were appreciated! Just a few steps up the road to coffee shops restaurants and shopping! We will defiantly go back!

Great Getaway!
The Hemlock is adorable! It is also super convenient to Main Street, we never moved our car because everything is walkable. The Inn is quiet and we loved the fire pit in the gazebo. Brian, the owner, made great recommendations for meals and he was super friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay and will stay again.

We enjoyed staying at Hemlock. The room was tiny but included mini oven, mini fridge, and 4 stove eyes. Bathroom was small but clean. Great place for the price. Walking distance to many great pubs and boutiques.

Hemlock Inn is a very boutique property. It is perfectly located near shops and easy access to state roads. The owners were wonderful! fire pit every night, with hotel guests gathering to chat and tell stories. My biggest issue, was the comfort of the furniture. For some reason, every place we stay in NC, has mattresses and couches which just sink. Soft is uncomfortable! Our mini fridge froze everything. Parking was very tight. Aside from those couple of things, highly recommend!
