The rooms need updating, they are decorated like a cheap motel! Poor customer service - the man at the reception looked bored and like he couldn't care less. Breakfast was good, though, as well as the location of the hotel, right in the center of the town. But other than that, not much to write home about.

Only good things to say about Hotel Normandy. The hotel is in an excellent location in Vernon, close to everything you would need. The Building and rooms are very nice and comfortable and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I did not get to try the restaurant, but I will the next time I am in Vernon.

very good value for money and 10 minutes from Giverny / Mont gardens. Local restaurant Quatore XiV is excellent and 8 minutes away by foot. Room didn't have AC or a coffee machine, and shower was not enclosed (was part of open shower/bathroom/toilet). Still, for that price and a one night stay it was a very good deal. Very helpful staff.

Everything was excellent except the room

I am afraid my review is somewhat complicated. I did not care for the size or design of our room. It was small and angular (low ceilings in both our room and hallways. The picture attached to this review looks nothing like our room did). In the future I will pay more attention to room size and configuration. Other than the room, everything was excellent- the dining area served good food, and people at the registration desk were very friendly,
