My daughter and I stayed there for a quick trip, and WOW. The staff was beyond helpful and so nice. The room was so charming. We had the best experience and will definitely be staying here every time we come back to Milwaukee.

The historic hotel is in a great area of town. You can walk and take the public transit easily. I love the style of this hotel and it has history. My only issue is the hotel rooms. Have a conventional flair to it, which is kind of bland, not ultra modern and not part of the history of the hotel period. It almost felt like it was slapped together real quick.
Knicks Restaurant and bar had terrific food and the service was nice.

It was a nice stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was great, old and remodeled in the same style. It is in the Milwaukee historic place (NHRP)
My complaint is that the designer in the room put weird modern art in the room. The furniture was plain. I expected a NHRP is have a great interior design. The hotel has a terrific soul, just wearing cheap clothing.
Location was great, but you need your walking shoes.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Only nits, were 2 of 3 light bulbs in the bedroom ceiling fan were not screwed in until I screwed them in to get more light. Also left side of bathroom sink was shaking on its support, but not unexpectable in a hotel this old. However, it should be fixed. Room 727.
Staff was most helpful in check in and check out.
My also need to get more recycling receptacles in rooms or elsewhere.

A great find! Historic, eclectic, clean and quiet. Great location, we took the city bikes straight down the road to fiserv forum. Reasonably priced, street parking instead of high priced garages.

Family of four, loved our suite. Walked to coffee shops with vegan breakfast sandwich options. View of lake from hotel room. Courteous staff and beautiful older building. Stately. We will be back next time we see the Brewers play.

Surprisingly nice hotel. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and plenty of room. The hotel is within walking distance of everything we planned for our trip. Some aspects of the hotel are dated, but adds to the quality of the stay and the theme of the hotel.

Great hotel option
This was a very nice hotel in a great location near the lake, parks, and the Art Museum. We had a small kitchenette, the bed was very comfortable, plenty of closet space. The bathrooms could use some updating, but it is an old, historic property. The restaurant on property only served breakfast on the weekends, but the bar was open daily. We'd happily stay here again.
