Nice for a winter getaway.

This is a lovely place to stay in the winter. It's much more like a B&B in decor than a chain hotel, but it's a hotel so you don't have to chat with anyone if you don't want to! There's a cozy bar & kitchen, and it's only 20 min from Okemo Mountain.

Cozy B&B in Chester, Vermont

We found The Fullerton Inn to be a charming B&B. The staff was friendly, the room was lovely. We met with friends and had a delicious dinner in their spacious dining room. There was a large outside deck and breath taking garden. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Overall our visit was quite nice. The gentleman who checked us is seemed new to the area and didn't know a lot about what was available. Our room however was clean and cozy. The food was delicious! My only disappointment was, it was New Year's eve and no fire in that beautiful lobby fireplace!

Quaint VT Inn

Quaint historic inn, wonderful staff, on site restaurant, 15 min from skiing. The rooms/carpet were a little worn and dated, but the beds were comfy. There are no TVs - I do enjoy renting a movie in the evenings. Otherwise, I'd stay again.

I liked the historic style of Fullerton Inn. The continental breakfast was sufficient and included in my stay. The room was clean. The full size bed was too soft. At night time, there was a noise from the roof - flying cables were hitting the roof and making a disturbing noise. The dinner and drinks at Fullerton restaurant were great - I highly recommend it!

Quaint little Inn w/ a good kitchen

Our stay at the Fullerton was for a two night snowboard trip at Okemo Mt (20 min drive). The Fullerton staff was very friendly, and made the stay smooth. The room was a little outdated and small, and there is no thermostat to control the temperature which was a little frustrating the first night. An electric heater was provided for your custom source of heat in the room. The restaurant had a good spread for lunch and dinner, and the food was very good! Overall, the Fullerton was a cozy stay and very fair priced.

If your looking for a cozy Vt. Inn this is it. No frills and very simple. The owners were totally accommodating to us, and very helpful to other guests within our group. Upon entry into room, numbered 24, it was obvious that the staff did a thorough job cleaning prior to our arrival. The beds and linen were both clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was more than adequate for our stay. We also had our traditional lunch there, and it was excellent with awesome service. Keep in mind if you are on the upper floors there will be some stairs to climb, other than that a great old style inn within minutes to numerous great venues.

The suite we had was decent, although no TV. Aside from being on the third floor, walk up only, my only objections were the truck traffic noise all night, room was in the front of the hotel, and the blinds were translucent so the room was bright, even at night due to streetlighting. Next time, second floor and rear of the hotel.
