We stayed in the hotel during the heat wave, so without the AC the room was quite warm, however manageable. Please mind the old style stairs in the building, may be challenging with heavy luggage. Otherwise the place was excellent for us. The breakfast is the best!

Overall a good stay, the rooms are dated and there were large damp patches on the walls but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom is nicely done. Very convenient location and a few minutes walk to the shopping and amenities. The pub itself is lovely, and the included breakfast was very nice.

Overall a good place to stay. Breakfast was very nice and staff provide excellent service. The only minor inconvenience we experienced during our stay was the occasional noise at night during strong winds, likely due to vibrations from outside, possibly caused by the building’s age.

We booked a couple of nights as we were going to Bath Venue two nights running! Great location, wonderful staff and lovely food. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared. Had one evening meal there which was lovely, no complaints. It is situated in a busy are so noisy during the night but cant hold that against them. Will certainly book again!

The Black Fox was one of my favorites. Spacious room, clean, good mattress and pillows, big bathroom, and great location right next to the Roman Baths. Short walk to the train station. Good breakfast included. Had fish and chips one night and it was very good as well.

We loved it! Everything was perfect. The room is big, clean, beautiful. The building is quiet old and that is why we were surprised to find a spotless well decorated and well maintained room. The king bed is very comfortable, we slept sooo good. The hotel is in a great location. The breakfast was good. We really enjoyed it.

Fantastic included breakfast menu options! Welcome change to the standard buffet that most hotels offer. I was thrilled to also have coffee choices, including lattes. The room and bathroom are a good size with a very comfy bed. The neighborhood is busy, but was quiet enough for sleeping at night. The location is great.
