    The Cooke-Dorn House historic site offers stunning Greek Revival style architecture as well as artefacts and furnishings authentic to its 1878 origins, and a serene tended garden. The house offers free admission and has not only changed hands over the years, but was actually completely disassembled and rebuilt at its current location.

    The home is the property of the Ohio Historical Society and a member of the Old House Guild of Sandusky, which has kept all of the original furnishings, decor, and contents intact. Walking in here is like taking a trip into Sandusky's earliest days.
