Comfort Plus!
Our host accommodated us in every way. We arrived late at the Vancouver Airport and Carl was able to provide pick up service. Our room was spotless and comfortable. We purchased breakfast food and fruit that we could keep in a guest refrigerator. Coffee and tea were provided. Our host was very helpful about helping us with public transportation which was plentiful. We were able to explore all of Vancouver’s highlights with ease. Very pleased with our stay.

Just OK, lots of rules, no AC
We only stayed one night and used a work hotel credit so we did not pay the full price for this place. I would not be willing to pay full price in the future and probably would not stay again. The proprietor was very friendly; upon arrival we were required to pay a $100 cash deposit and were instructed to remove our shoes. We were given a house key and a room key and shown to our room. Overall the stay wasn’t terrible. The room did not have AC which made it uncomfortable but a fan made it tolerable for one night. There was a booklet with three pages of rules in the room, one of them being that quiet hours started at 11pm. At 10 pm we were told our TV was too loud (it kinda had to be so we could hear it over the fan...) Again, overall not terrible but in the future I would prefer to stay somewhere with a little more freedom and comfort, especially if I’m paying over $100/night.

The stay at Better Bed was a very pleasant surprise. I really didn’t know what to expect but it turned out to be excellent. Carl was a most gracious host and I really enjoyed my stay.
