A nice birthday break
We went to April cottages for my birthday weekend and it was a home from home with the wood burner making it nice and snug on our arrival, a clean and comfortable room and breakfast kept us going until we were ready for lunch. We would definitely recommend April cottage B&B if you are planning a trip to the Bradford On Avon area. Eating out recommendations: The Thai Barn restaurant Bradford on Avon. The New Inn Lower Westwood where we had an excellent Sunday lunch, other options on the menu also look appetising and the Otter beer was yummy, book prior your visit if you fancy a Sunday lunch.

Cosy and comfortable.
We received a warm welcome in this lovely country cottage. My dietary requirements well catered for. We had a very comfortable stay with plenty of peace and quiet and a cosy log fire, which was lit for us.

Highly recommended
April Cottage was a perfect place to stay for a romantic night away. The cottage is gorgeous and cosy, in a beautiful location. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We ventured into nearby Bradford on Avon for the evening. The local taxi firm is cheaper and better than Uber. Had a great evening at Timbrell’s Yard, then dinner at The Bunch of Grapes. We will definitely be returning.

Great Base
This was a short break for 3 people and this was an excellent base for visiting Bath/Bristol and Swindon. The room were very good and the communal living room was a welcome bonus to relax in at the end of a busy day. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of items to cheese from. I would recommend this as a base for day trips in the area.
