This is a lovely old building with a very nice bar area. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. We booked a room for 3 people and there were only towels, cups etc for 2 in the room. We had to ask for the breakfast time. We were given no information at check in and there was no information about the hotel in the room. At breakfast the next day we watched as the staff member tidied up around us, waiting to be served. Eventually, we had to ask if we could order breakfast as it was clear they weren't aware that we hadn't ordered. The breakfast food was OK but the continental selection was disappointing. There was no fresh fruit, pastries, croissants etc, just cereal and fruit from a tin. Overall, a comfortable stay but service definitely requires improvement.
