The hotel is vintage in age, design and decor - so different from "seen one, seen them all" modern facilities. Location is close to town but feels rural and a bit rustic - just what we look for in lodgings while on holiday. Staff went out of their way to be helpful (calling for taxis and food delivery when our phones wouldn't operate) and making suggestions for day trips in the area. They treated us like family! Be aware that the television might not work (high winds had disabled the connection while we were there) but wi-fi worked fine. We would certainly visit again!

Pluss: Motellrom er genialt, dusjen hadde bra trykk, de ansatte er superhyggelige, og frokosten er både kjempebra og smart laget til i hyggelig lokale. Minus: Senga var skikkelig hard, og det kom bølger av «vannlåslukt» på rommet. Savnet også AC, alle vinduer åpne og døra på vidt gap hjelper lite når det er varmebølge om sommeren. Alt i alt: Helt klart et fint alternativ for flere besøk, kanskje teste et rom i selve gjestegården neste gang.

Veldig fint sted. Rent og pent. Vanskelig å få inn frisk luft i rommet på varme dager pga manglende ventilasjon og bare et bitte lite gløtt på vinduet. Hyggelig personale. Unntaket var velkomsten da vi ankom noen timer før innsjekk kl 15. En ganske kontant avvisning med beskjed om å komme tilbake til rett tid. Vi hadde ikke vært der før og ønsket i grunnen bare å orientere oss. Det hender jo også at rommet er ferdig tidlig, slik at man får sjekket inn. Flott service med storskjerm til VM- kamp i fotball! God frokost!
