Cool hotel, rough around the edges.
Thought I read there was a safe in the room, there wasn't. Towels were so stiff and felt like sandpaper. Room and hotel decor was cool and different. Food was excellent but on the expensive side.

We enjoyed our stay when we visited our son. The hotel was conveniently within walking distance of his apartment as well as places to eat, drink, shop, and be entertained. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast at The Palette was delicious.

Disappointed with shuttle
The airport shuttle was not available when we needed it for our departure. Priority was given to guests attending the Badger game. Doing this was contrary to the hotel policy. I specifically booked this hotel for the airport shuttle.

Excellent stay. Entire staff was friendly and accommodating. They provided a shuttle service to various locations, and top notch recommendations for food and drinks. Room was clean and stylish!

Hotel was clean (as you would hope a new hotel would be). Plenty of things to do and eat nearby. Rooms are small for the price - the king suite was the size a standard room at most like-priced (and most cheaper) hotels in the area. The air in my room was not effective; set at 66 the entire stay and it ran the entire time but never cooled the room below 69. I had little interaction with staff but they were professional in attitude and appearance when I checked in. Whether I stayed again would depend entirely on rate and reason for my visit - this is not a "must stay" location for me.
