Modern clean affordable hotel.
Business trip. Well laid out, good price with limited free parking, friendly staff. Oban has been desperate for well price redeveloped hotel.

Very nice
The hotel was very comfortable and stylish, with good service. My daughter and I had a really nice stay. My only complaint is that there was nothing for us for breakfast as we are both vegan - they didn't even have non-dairy milk options. Fortunately, there's a delicious vegetarian/vegan cafe nearby, so we were fine.

Well worth a visit.
This was our first visit to Oban, felt the Scot hotel was very clean and friendly. Would definately stay there again.

Beware: The address listed is incorrect
We arrived late afternoon and had a terrible time finding the hotel. Beware: the address on hotels.com and Google Maps is wrong. We ended up having to call the hotel to find out where they were located and were told to type "Oban Phoenix", a closed movie theater, into the Maps search to find their real address, which is at 140 George Street. This was a frustrating start to the stay because I was diligent in sending confirmation emails to each hotel we used and this hotel never responded, which would have been a great time to say the address listed was wrong. We thought the hotel was at city centre, but due to the address discrepancy it was really a few blocks away. It was still walkable, but this seems like a bit of false advertising as we thought we were in the middle of it all. Once we arrived, there was no one at the desk even though we had spoken less than 10 minutes before and we had to wait for a receptionist who was on a smoke break out back. The rooms were fine and a decent size compared to what we were used to in the UK. They provided a fan, which we were happy to use. Breakfast had a few options including full Scottish and porridge as well as a small continental. Overall, the hotel was fine, as long as you can find it.
