Chaos in Cartagena
Lost my plastic key the 1st evening of my 4 night stay. The hotel didn't have an extra key so i spent the 1st night with no electricity in the room. Checked out the morning of my second day and forfeited 3 days remaining, The lady at the front desk on the night shift was apathetic, totally indifferent to my needs. I would never stay there, ever! It is a hyped up hotel, very disappointing comparing what was written vs the actual hotel.

I stayed here two nights and enjoyed myself. First off there is no hot water. But otherwise this is a nice hotel. The pool on the roof has a great view and bar. It is a small pool with limited seating but fun. The free breakfast is good. Good AC and WiFi . The location is a block from the beach and central to everything. The basic room is on the small side but comfortable . The Staff are very good. In this price range there are many hotels in the area but this is not a bad choice .There are supermarkets , drugstores all very close. This is a safe area.

I liked the room view and room windows going from the floor to the ceiling. Rooms itself were very clean and in perfect condition. Staff was very helpful. If I have to recommend a staff members it will be Diurani, Sayed and Johnatan Cogoio. Only thing I didn't like was that there was no hot water at all in the whole building. Thank you Expedia and Zione Hotel.

The only positive point is its location: close to the beach and main street in Bocagrande. BUT the hotel does not have hot water at all, not enough towels for the guests, only one elevator that also was not working one day, my tv went off one day, there were not enough cups for breakfast, there is no safety box in the room, there are only 4 chairs in the pool, and I could go on and on. Also you have to “activate” your key every single day... otherwise you cannot go into your room.
