Lovely hotel stay for our overnight in Montreal. My 14-year-old daughter was enthralled with the whole student vibe of the place, and thoroughly enjoyed the tone, as well as the separated bedrooms of our two-bedroom room. The bathroom is oddly situated with a sink on one side of the room and the toilet and shower on the other side. Helpful for doing things while someone else does their other things, but what about washing one's hands? Speaking of clean - there was much to be desired about the cleanliness. The level of cleaning also had a student vibe about it, in that it was about as clean as a university kid would get it before their parents dropped by to visit. Mostly clean, clean to a glance, but the bathroom wasn't gleaming, and there was at least one hair on at least one surface of everything. The place felt clean, but it didn't look clean if it was actually checked or stared at for long. The beds were totally comfortable and for a small room, it was great and would be a lovely little dorm set-up. Granted, we were moving on to tent camping for the rest of the week so our perspectives were somewhat biased. The central location made it easy and fun to head out and see the town on foot. The staff was friendly. The elevators worked. The pay parking garage was nearby. We used no amenities of the hotel but they looked nice if not accessible (?) like courts and gyms. I didn't see a pool. Overall a great stay.
