Rochester Resort Motel

The location is absolutely perfect! The staff was extremely friendly! The only negative thing we found was there seemed to be a couple people living there at the time of our stay that were questionable to say the least but given the way things are in the world right now, im sure it was a temporary situation for the hotel to have to deal with.

Bad check in.booked a room online. arrived to check in, the office was closed & said re open the next morn. Worried we called the hotel to get an answer by a very rude man telling us to just ring the bell. This bell has no sign telling us to ring it so if we hadnt gotten through on the phone we would have been screwed. Rest of check in went smoothly allthough man was rude. Hotel is very dated. The office stunk of smoke,parking is aweful, old building. Our first thought was regret & were worried to see the room especially with the crooked door/loose lock. Relieved to find room spotless but basic, no bad smell in room. People seem to live there & were outside making lots of noise at all hours of the night. Beds are uncomfertable. Wont stay again. Best thing here is location & rooms were clean.

Very neatly maintained. An old style motel, but clean as a pin. Comfortable beds, modern appointments. A great price.

Nice location on the waterfront. Beautiful boardwalk across the street. Easy walk to restaurants.

It’s a basic motel but the location/price makes up for it. The bed and blankets were clean and comfy. We checked in at 11pm and the host said she was waiting for us, so I recommend that you let them know ahead if you know you’ll be there late. The location was superb, and it’s an easy fast walk to get around the area to restaurants/shops. Your room view isn’t lakefront but it’s just steps away. It was wonderful having the boardwalk along the beach right in front of us.

Nice location and it is very clean, people are nice . There are some bars and restaurants nearby. If breakfast is included, that will be better.

Great location right on the main Penticton strip.

Great location and clean. Needs screens on the bedroom and bathroom windows so that you can get fresh air without letting bugs in.
