      Disappointed.

      I picked this hotel because of the review score that was a mistake....,The elevator smelled bad and the hotel conditions was not the best. The hotel was very noisy all night and it was a Tuesday? The bed was uncomfortable. Luckily we only stayed one night.

      Hotel needs some updating. The toliet barely flushed and the cabinet front in the bathroom fell off on my foot. The furniture in the room itself was pretty banged up.

      Rude

      After making a long drive to get here, I walked in and asked the front desk man if there was a public restroom I could use. He said no, even though I was looking right at it. Then he shifted and said I needed to check in first. He said it would only take a second but minutes later I'm still waiting to use the restroom! What kind of customer service is this?!

      On first arrival, trash over flowing by the front door. Entrance way, lobby and hall all seem run down (esp) carpet. All areas blocked off, gym, common area, no snack available, vending machine out of service. The room door handle was broken. The room itself seemed updated and nice, bed was nice. In the morning attempted to use fitness center and they had that closed even though you could go to the planet fitness down the street. Told desk clerk wanted to cancel the 2nd night, he rang up a 3rd night and then refunded it. I asked about that and he told me the original 2 night booking would fall off in time? I guess time will tell but I would not use this hotel again. Really nice ones in the area, stay away if you can.

      The room itself was nice. Our first stop was to find ice for the evening. All of the ice machines were visibly covered in mold and only 1 of the 3 I tried actually worked. My kids were excited to see the jacuzzi tub, I wasn’t thrilled as it looked pretty dingy. They hopped in and the water filling the tub was green. Eek! The jacuzzi jets were not functioning (needless to say, they immediately got out). The door to our room was not snug, there were large gaps on all 3 sides causing light to beam in. Upon checking out, I was ushering my kids out and turned back to ask about breakfast. The receptionist said, “yeah we have bags..” Those should have been offered without me having to ask. For the $100/night it cost to stay here, I expected better. The price is very comparable to other hotels in the area, I should have picked a different one.

      Just what the doctor ordered

      Check in was easy and my requests had been honored for a corner room. The room it’s self was spacious and newly updated. The curtains were the best black out curtains I have ever seen! However, the thermostat was senitive. One degree too much it was hot, one degree too low it was freezing. There are wasn’t any cups in the room. The water pressure was great though and the bed wasn’t too bad. I’d stay again.
