hotel was Ok apart from the noise of workmen on the roof every day, but the major problem was tha ti was paying with a credit card, with which i had booked through hotels.com. This was a standard chip and pin card. they swiped the card and did not request the pin they claimed they could not use pins As a result the card was not authorised and i had to spend over an hour and a halft on the phone to my bank in the UK from teh US to be told there was nothing wrong with my card, it was jus tey had not provided the pin authorisation This caused stress over several days until eventually hyatt got authoriseation fromthe company tha thandles their card processes But to be told why do you not just go to a ATM and use all your cards to take out a total of $2,500 in cash to apy them when it was their systems which were the problem which they eventually agreed was galling to say the least. On that i would award a -10 score, everyhting else was OK

Gorgeous family hotel- amazingly helpful.
Gorgeous hotel, amazing helpful staff. Our flight was cancelled so I we drove front Nevada. As we arrived in the middle of the night, they waived the city tax for the night and gave us free parking. Little things like that make a huge difference when you're exhausted! The hotel is fantastic, i feel the pool area is geared more towards families than couples. The area is lovely if you want a relax or have a car with you, if not, it's a little out of town. Totally depends what you're looking for!

Poor 2.0
WORST HOTEL EVER, AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I booked this trip through hotels.com and it was explained that there was a resort fee in addition to the room rate to be paid at resort. This was ok with me as it was pointed out at time of booking. In the list of facilities it clearly stated parking was available. On arrival at the hotel, which was in the middle of nowhere, I was informed that there was a $37 per night parking charge and that the nearest alternative parking was several miles away. It is shocking that nowhere on the hotel.com site or on the hotels web site was this charge mentioned. The resort fee, which is on par with the massive Vegas resorts, also turned out to be a complete rip off with many of the facilities unavailable due to breakdown, sauna and steam room, or closure as out of season. When asked by the receptionist if I enjoyed my two night stay I mentioned all the above and stated that I was very unhappy with hotels.com and with Hyatt. Her absolute couldn't care less attitude perfectly rounded off the worst hotel experience possible. Avoid this hotel at all costs. I will never book a Hyatt hotel again and I will probably boycott hotels.com in the future also. This hotel also adds a 3% surcharge to everything including meals, drinks, resort fee, parking etc, to cover "state and local increases to the minimum wage". This says two things to me, firstly that this hotel pays the minimum wage despite overcharging for everything, and second, that it will find every avenue to rip off their customers.
