Great central location and bellhops and concierge were friendly amd helpful. Property had no bar as such and restaurant too formal and no view. Parking wazmarket rate but still ridiculously expensive. If you plan to drive suggest doing city first yjen hiting when you leave. Public / mass transit is cheap, convenient and safe (during day we walked at night.

Spent 3 nights at Grand Hyatt. Hotel was great, ideally located close to Union Square. Our room overlooked the city. Hotel was modern, clean & staff were generally friendly and helpful.

View from the gym on 35th floor makes the running machine way more interesting! Comfortable beds, good room size, helpful staff and convenient coffee/food concession on the lobby level. Only real gripes were TV didn't link consistently to phone for Netflix casting when we were resting in between trips and the cleaning ladies persisted in shouting and clashing around outside when we left do not disturb signs on door, I think they must have the most hoovered corridors in San Francisco!

Great location! Walking distance to Union Square, cable car - to get to wharf and Chinatown and short Uber ride to Oracle park for the game. Friendly staff and quick check in. I think $80 valet parking there is outrageous, even for SF. There is a parking garage 1 block away for $42 per day Pros: Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Our room faced east, it had automatic shades that are controlled by bedside buttons and they blocked out morning light pretty well. There is a hidden refrigerator & safe in the cabinets. Cons: The bathroom door is a sliding one hat leaves a little gap (facing away from room) but it doesn’t close shut and it’s frosted glass. So if you like privacy in the bathroom you probably shouldn’t stay here. The volume on the tv is limited to a certain level so I couldn’t hear it if the ac/fan was on. AC was not cool enough at times and it wouldn’t allow us to lower past a certain temp to get it cooler in the room. So there were times that we were warm. If you open the window the ac will turn off so you’ll be stuck being warm. Not a deal breaker but we thought it was odd there was a map in the hallway that showed a 36th floor and mapped out where to view sunset, bay etc. but we were not allowed to access the floor and when we asked the front desk guy, he said it’s for conferences and no one is allowed to go up there. We thought is was odd to show us something we couldn’t do.

We loved this hotel. Very clean, and the most comfortable bed I've slept on in any hotel. Nice, walkable part of town. We went to Sears Fine Foods for breakfast a block away, as suggested by the concierge, and it was fantastic.
