Poor value
Poor value for money. Room was the worst we stayed in during 4 weeks holiday and also the most expensive. It was a very hot day and the a/c hadn't been put on so room was hot and stuffy. When we did put it on it was ineffective. Couldn't log on to WiFi, obviously a problem as there was a note telling you to ring an external company in case of difficulty. Reception couldn't help. Mattress cover was of a fabric which made bed feel very hot, same with pillows; not the cool crisp linens we had got in other hotels. Plug in sink didn't work. Drinks in vending machine twice the price of anywhere else. First class coffee maker.

On the road stopover
I read that this hotel was central & was refurbished, both seem to be true, definitely central. I thought I got a good price until I got to the room. The room itself was OK, a bit strange having both a front & back door!! The main problems came at the back door end of the room. Firstly, there was the very rickety stairway that was very loud when used then there was a weird (often occurring) noise. I've no idea what it was (guessing something to do with waterworks). Either way it was annoying & disturbing. I didn't complain as I knew that it was only for one night. Avoid the block of room numbers starting 4000.

Excellent choice
Just stayed the one night but loved this motel, staff very helpful, room was excellent. Even managed to fit in a swim on our short stay. Tourist info nearby were very helpful, plenty of shops and restaurants around motel to keep us occupied during the evening. Would stay again without hesitation.
