Restaurant food was very nice and good value. Breakfast was excellent the hit options were all freshly cooked and good quality. The continental options were also good quality and varied. The room was a little tired and some or the corridor areas could do with a freshening up. All told a very nice overnight stay and will stay again when in the area. Thank you to the restaurant staff who were all very friendly and looked after their guests.

Another stay at this lovely hotel. Yes it's a little shabby in places & the carpets could do with a cleaning but what makes this hotel are the staff. Their attention to detail, friendly, polite & efficient service is second to none. The food is excellent. All in all this is a cosy hotel & well worth a visit. Where it was made to feel welcome and have enjoyed larger than average rooms, easy parking and superb dinners and breakfast. In the 1st instance the hotel was very nice then we went to the room to find lots of cobwebs high and low down in the room also skirting boards were very dusty i dont think cleaners know what they are doing , apart from that we had a pleasant stay staff were amazing, restaurant was really nice food was excellent staff were very accommodating. Could not fault the service would definitely stay again was nice and relaxing.
