Good in a pinch but not for a family trip
Stayed here thinking it was easy to get to downtown and it was cheap. It's cheap because it's a very ghetto area. The mall behind it is 1/2 abandoned. There are homeless beggars standing in the street as you are at a light. My child didn't feel safe and was afraid to leave the room to go out to eat. The pool is literally falling apart. Staff was great, room was clean and bed was comfy but I'd pay more to stay in a nicer area. Wifi was awful too

Lot of service for the budget conscience
My stay was made spectacular due to the awesome customer service I received from one of the housekeeping staff: Teresa. This wonderful lady was truly the epitome of what customer service is all about. I was pleased with other staff members - front desk and shuttle van drivers - but Teresa is at the head of the class in this area. I was very impressed with the size of the eating area. I was very happy with the breakfast that was provided. My room was very comfortable, and contained a microwave and refrigerator. The shuttle van was definitely a bonus. Not only was there a shuttle van, but it operates 24 hours each day - at least that's what the shuttle driver told me. I've never known any hotel to have a shuttle that operates 24 hours each day, so this was very special. If you like to use public transportation as I do, you'll love the fact that the bus stops are right out front. The cost per night was very reasonable for what I received. The Wi-Fi was free, and there was never an issue. I do intend to stay at this property on my next trip to Chicago. Thanks Teresa for providing the quintessential customer service experience.

Checking out is just as important as checking i
Our stay was great but, we did not like being rushed out on check out day. We got a call at 10:28am then a knock at the door a few minutes later asking if we are checking out & when my husband opened the door they were standing there in the hall he told them he was going down to get a luggage cart & that check out was not until 11:00 as we were leaving headed to the elevator they wanted to know if my sister-in-law were leaving today we told them yes we're all leaving checkout is at 11, once we got to the elevator I remembered I left something in the refrigerator by the time I got back to the room they had already gone in there & did not want me to come in, this was my second stay at this hotel but I might have to think twice about a third stay

Close to the Airport
Hotel was conveniently located close to Midway airport, providing free airport shuttle. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. I must alert you, however, that Free Parking doesn't really mean FREE PARKING, if you plan to park there more than one night, while you are travelling from MDW airport. When reviewing the amenities for this airport it was stated: Included amenities Free Parking Free Wireless Internet Free Airport Shuttle It was not mentioned anywhere in the hotel's profile that there were additional parking fees for leaving the car parked in the hotel parking lot. The staff member at the front desk did his best to accommodate me for the parking fee, for which I am thankful, but I believe there hotel description needs to be more transparent about their parking fees. I would very possibly have booked a different hotel had it not been for the fact I thought I was getting FREE Parking.

Pretty decent hotel didn’t like that my room was close to the window and to a Main Street and when we arrived my 2 yr old niece had to go potty. my sister found hairs and some stains on the bathtub and on the sink. But other than that I enjoyed it very much. We had a good breakfast! We also didn’t like that the entrance was under construction or something because it had the yellow do not pass tape. Please tell morning Hispanic housekeepers to be more nicer. We said hi and good morning to them and they just looked at us weird, and we said in Spanish so I know they understood me pretty well. I also Loved how it’s a non smoking hotel!! I recommend this hotel and will definitely reserve in my next stay!!
