Holiday Inn Virginia Beach Norfolk Hotel & Conference Center

The hotel is good and the beds very comfortable. The staff very kind and helpful. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant very good. Some more signs would be helpful, like indicating where is the foyer. It is a big hotel and it is very easy to walk in the opposite direction.

Small room- old furniture- bathroom needed repairs

Staff was friendly, room was nice. Only complaints were low water pressure in bathroom sink and tub was slippery.

The hotel stay was adequate. When I arrived the room key did not work and was rectified in short order. The room smelled like mildew, probably because the AC was on high. The TV sound did not work most of the time and when it did, it did not work on all the channels. The two days I stayed there I had to listen to weed whackers most of the daylight hours. The only real positive was the staff was nice. To top everything off the entire area around the hotel is a mess, but I can not blame the hotel for that disruption. I found that the exterior and stairwells were less than what I would expect from a Holiday Inn. Overall I feel like I probably paid to much for what I got in return. I usually stay here when I make the 700 mile trek from Maine, but after this last stay I may be rethinking my future accomodations.

We really enjoyed our stay ! We were very impressed! The staff was wonderful ! and very professional and they made my Husband and i feel very welcome !! The Hotel was ABSOLUTELY Amazing!! We will definitely come back again!!

We had 2 families across 3 rooms, 1 on the 3rd floor & the other 2 on the 4th floor; the 4th floor rooms had bed bugs as the kids in one room were bitten by bed bugs. The room on the 3rd floor which i booked with Expedia had mold on the shower curtains. We had half a roll of toilet paper in the toilet meant for a family of 3!! At the minimum a brand new roll should have been there with extra rolls but we didn’t even have extra rolls. No complementary bottled water either. Bathrooms would not drain in both 3rd & 4th floor rooms so we unfortunately bathed in standing water, and the water would drain about 10 minutes after you are done showering i.e. until maintenance came to fix it.

We had reserved a hotel elsewhere in Virginia Beach and upon check in found it to be just horrible and we were supposed to be there 3 nights. We found Holiday In and it was a reasonable rate, a nice location close to everything, and the staff were wonderful! Staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating! Restaurant staff attached in Ashley's Bistro were also extremely friendly. We would recommend this hotel and look forward to going back ourselves.

Very noisy. People running up and down the hallways. A lot of people in the parking lot during all hours of the night.

The property did not notify me to let me know they were in the process of renovating. The place looked like a war zone. Granted, my visit was during the pandemic, the staff that was left (1 or 2 people) was very pleasant. I stayed there before and was expecting the same warmth I felt during my prior visit.
