Friendly staff, good food and beer, comfortable.
Lovely overnight stop before a visit to Highgrove. Very friendly staff, lovely clean room with superior bedding. Sunday roast was excellent as were Uleys ales.

Asked to change room as the double we had booked was too small, a strange arrangement of shower in the eaves of the bedroom and sink/toilet behind a bifold door, offered to pay the difference direct to owner but he insisted we rebooked through Hotels.com, the agent was unhelpful and said we couldn’t upgrade as we had partially paid for the room with a reward night she suggested we could rebook We gave up and stayed in our original room, The pub food was good, the breakfast was good, shame we couldn’t change our room

Very good 8.0
Stayed for 2 nights at this inn and had a lovely time. It was near Bath and many of the Cotswold towns, so a good location. The staff were very obliging and made sure everyone obeyed the Covid Rules. If there was one small irritation, the continental breakfast consisted of toast, preserves, cereal and fruit not really a continental breakfast and not really appealing, so I had a lovely Full English both mornings.

relaxing weekend away.
Looking for a weekend away, we found the Cat & Custard pot Inn, loved the quirky name, and decided to give it a try, food was excellent, all cooked fresh and to order, clean through out , we stayed in the Madam Tynings room (2nd floor) if your tall you may struggle as it has low ceiling and door way, we were fine!! Large free standing bath in bathroom, And separate walk in shower,

Lovely pub B&B with great food
Lovely pub B&B. Great service and A really comfortable room. Really excellent food in the pub but be sure to book your table in advance as it’s very popular.

Lovely pub in a beautiful setting
Lovely pub in a beautiful setting. The pub garden is located out the front with the car park in the rear. The sunsets out the back which is a shame that there isn’t a garden located there. Very well decorated inside, nice layout and friendly and helpful staff. Lots of businesses are trying to cope with this pandemic and they do it well. Table service only and no bar service, it might make things a little slower at times but we all need to be understanding of this. We stayed in one of the rooms upstairs, nice room very clean, comfortable bed and everything worked well. It would of been lovely to have a bath but you can’t have everything. We ate in the restaurant, it was nice, not perfect. My husbands main the beef was good mine the pork belly was average. I had the sticky toffee pudding which was very nice, my husband had the cheese board which was poor. Three cheese that weren’t great and the cheddar had grating marks and tasted awful, was well presented though. Breakfast was lovely and the perfectly cooked. We also had lunch of a sandwich and chips again nicely done.
