Good location The hotel does not have food space to serve breakfast to the large number of guests. The space is relatively small and open and there are lot pigeons which are a big nuisance. The breakfast service is not very clean. Overall the breakfast is quite average and poor facilities / hygiene make it even worse.

Hyatt Hotel
The hotel was great, however parking is a nightmare as the only option we had was valet parking at $35 a night. The people are so nice and friendly and Honolulu / Waikiki are fabulous.

Honeymoon stay at Hyatt place Hawaii
We where on our honeymoon & arrived on the Saturday. Matt who booked us in was friendly & knowledgeable & went the extra mile to assist us. We went to the room on the sixth floor. Good views. Room good size. Bed comfortable. Nice balcony. Slightly noisy from breakfast guests but this did not bother us as we where up anyway. We went out for food & came back. We where kept awake by teenagers running around the hotel corridors & in the rooms above. Slamming doors. We thought they would quieten down. I was wrong. We left it till 2am & called reception who sent security to investigate. This stopped & continued again. We had very little sleep which impacted on our honeymoon & the trips we had planned. We went to reception & spoke to jade. She was unaware what was causing the issue. Dispute us saying it sounds like teenagers. Solution offered 1) a smaller room in another tower without a view (away from the kids) but jade did not say this 2) Move to the 19th floor again for a worse room without a view. We should have been upgraded not offered a downgraded. Had no option but staying in the room. They started again in the Sunday night & I investigated. It was an oriental school trip. Our room was on the 6th floor & they had the 5th,to 9th floor. I spoke to two teens running on the floor above at 12:30am and nicely told them to stop. The noise stopped. we paid a lot of money to stay there but not as much as the school trip.that is how jade made us feel. Will not stay again.

Hotel okay, shame about the management
The room was of a good size with a bit of a sea view and a large balcony, however we had problems with ants in the room and the fire alarm going of at 3-00am Twice with no apologies from management,. also in an 8 day stay the room was not cleaned one day and we had to ask the cleaner at 5-00pm to clean it another. Also shame about the very poor attempt to provide something they called breakfast and a poor lounge and bar area, this could be is a good hotel one block back from the beach, however is is quite a walk to the centre where all the most of the life is and the local trolley stops at 9-00pm. It just needs better management with a bit more care. Sadly we would try another hotel next time.
