Eastside Lodge
The location was fairly central, just outside of downtown Porland. This was was advantageous in terms of travel, as there were several buses available that would take you downtown, and if that did not appeal you could always walk as it only took about 10 minutes. But if you do walk in, you might be surprised by the number of homeless people who line the streets in the Old Town district, which is the closest district once you cross the Burnisde Bridge. The condition of the hotel was perfunctory, as there was an elevator and an ice machine available. In the office there were two vending machines, one for snacks and another for drinks, as well as free coffee near the desk. The room itself featured an ice bucket and several plastic cups. Fresh soap was supplied daily, as the rooms were cleaned at around noon each day. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

Polished turd
There has been recent upgrades, but the rooms are still old and need more than paint and carpet.
