Turtle Bay Resort
Very Good8.0
Not worth the price
I was on my honeymoon and didn't expect special treatment but definitely felt more special/welcomed at other hotels during my stay in Hawaii. The breakfast included at vista level is average and I expected better. It also would have been nice to be greeted with a lei considering the price paid for the hotel and to be provided with any information about tours upon check in. There was nothing wrong with my stay, however it definitely didn't feel special or worth the price paid for the room.

Brilliant!
Brilliant hotel 10 out of 10! It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. As the pictures show it is right on the sea and every room has a seaview. We were overlooking the pool and the sea. The room was spotless, a massive double bed, masses of space, and a wonderful balcony with comfortable chairs to while away the time. The staff are really helpful. The breakfast was good- we had a deal that included the continental breakfast with the option to upgrade to the hot breakfast. We only upgraded once as the continental breakfast was more than sufficient- toast, juice, fresh fruit, cereals, bagels, etc etc We read the reviews before travelling and therefore we did not try the over expensive restaurants on site. We did eat at the pool bar and it was really good quality food. It wasn't expensive either. It is necessary to have a car to get to this resort otherwise you would be a bit stuck. Its easy to add activities to the room- I had a surf lesson and it was really great. The pool is brilliant and the beach next door is fab. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is fantastic.

Turtle bay is great
Our stay was as last year: great ! The Management must solve the buffet problem: Continental buffet against "all you can eat buffet". Nobody could understand the difference, the waiters included. A abvious solution would be better.

We moved here from Waikiki. So happy we did. Waikiki was not for us. Too epic and touristy. And while we happily spend on our hols it was so expensive . Turtle bay provided the best solution

Excellent. Restaurant quality not up to par.
Excellent all round, great service, rooms, location and activities. Only complaints would be the food in the restaurants, quite expensive for the quality of food, the breakfast and pizza buffet especially overpriced. That said, it is still probably in the top 5 hotels I've stayed in worldwide.
