Maxwell House Disappointment!

Overall I should’ve known with the price point being so low that it wouldn’t be as nice as the others around downtown. As a native it pains me to see the state of the bathrooms, rooms, hallways, and front desk. Not at all inviting or welcoming, staff at front desk were very cold and emotionless. Cracks, water stains, tears, etc on just about every inch of this place. I stayed on the third floor and the walk through the hallway looks like a scary movie. Room service in the mornings looks like an evacuation has happened with all the doors wide open and stuff everywhere. Paper thin walls to hear every single footstep and bang, the only positive was our a/c unit in our room worked well, but was set to HEAT in the middle of the day so our room was sweltering when we walked in. :( Management in charge of repairs, construction etc needs to be rehired because a teenager could do a better job with the place. Stuff has clearly just been painted, glued, and caulked over time and time again. Please overhaul this hotel it needs it desperately.
