We were in town for a funeral. Our stay at the Hilton was good.

Comfy place to stay for conferences
The Good Stuff: Room looked as if it had been recently remodeled-- slate walls in the bathroom, etc. Staff was excellently helpful. Great location/short walk to nearby conferences. The hotel bar was great, had a reasonably decent selection of good single malt (Lagavulin 16). There was even this cool swing/jazz festival thing down about a block away. Definitely would stay here again. The Bad Stuff: Try to avoid staying on the second floor, as the bar noise echos up to the room. The remote seemed to be located partially in another spacetime, because it took a good 8 seconds to change channels after pressing the button on the remote. Valet parking was a bit pricey.

    Very nice place. Pricey bar.
Bar is pricey. We had good service on the first round. However, there was a shift change and the 2nd was very slow and his accent was difficult to understand. Valet had an excellent team. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
