Brilliant service. Hotel has an air of grandeur but rooms are bit dated. Serious lack of sockets in the rooms. Breakfast is fantastic but does get busy. Restaurant was good.

3 Night Stay
Highly recommended hotel for a short or long break. Not the cheapest, but one of the best hotels in Blackpool. Considering the age of the hotel, it is well maintained and has a regal feel. Only one minor gripe, beware of the queue for breakfast. Staff do their best to seat the guests asap, but sometimes there is a wait unless you get to breakfast before 8am. Also, although there is a large car park, getting a space is the luck of the draw. However, once parked, it is a great location for walking to the town centre (20 mins) or hopping on the famous Blackpool trams which stop outside the hotel.

Good 6.0
A little disappointed
It started off with them greeting us with a two night stay when we had booked four nights. That was sorted out straight away. Then we went to the bar for a drink and sandwich and they got one of the sandwiches wrong. We were very happy to help with them going green and not having our room cleaned everyday. We also had a family on our floor and the infant was allowed to run up and down the corridor at 10.30 at night and screamed all night one night. So much so that they took it for a walk at 3.30am to try and placate it. On departure day we were booking out and they could not find our tab agreement so was a little delayed in leaving. We did not use the breakfast or dinner facilities.

Poor 2.0
Front of house staff need improvement !!!
Arrived at imperial  hotel after 8 hours driving. Greeted at reception by Tony, all seemed fine. We were Travelling as a party of four,  two adults and two teenagers. Requested at booking both  rooms to be together.  However after receiving keys to my disappointment one room was on first floor and the other on 2nd floor!! Asked for rooms closer together as requested but Tony's attitude then changed drastically.  He became extremely rude and unhelpful. He replied that if we book through another company he does not get requested information regsrding rooms and theses are the only rooms available? I asked to speak to duty manager as tony was in a tangent.  DM said if we changed both rooms on a daily basis we could move to rooms to be closer together, how ridiculous! Totally unacceptable we were there for three nights. Finally Settled for rooms on same floor on opposite ends. We had to split up the group, one adult and teenager in each room.  Certainly not what we had planned!!! It seems when problems occur in this hotel the staff are incapable of resolving the matter in professional manner. I certainly felt the staff were unwelcoming and looked down on their paying guests. Check out was not great with female assistant.Very happy to leave only to find my car vandalised in the car park. Had to pay over £100 for repair.   Positive. Staff in dining room were superb made up for front of house staff.

Not bad, but could have been better.
Found chocolate and papers under bed which had not been moved to be hovered under for some time. Found stale crisps down the side of one of the chairs. Shower water pressure was poor, room needs updating. Leisure pool had lots of dirt in the bottom which suggests it dies not get cleaned regularly.
