Expected a lot more from a 4 star hotel

Paint was falling off the wall in the room, room was too hot unable to turn the radiator off in the bathroom also unable to open the window in the room. Had problems with the room key at check in had to go to reception 3 times to change electronic keys. Short staffed on reception and in the bar definitely not worth the money i paid. Also parking should be free to guests not £9.00 per night. Nice friendly staff though

Post May 14th visit to BPool.

All good especially under COVID conditions. Stayed here a number of times in the past. Nice to sit outside with sea views enjoying a few drinks from the bar.

    Needs TLC

On arrival building looks grand from the outside. Inside the place it tired and rundown. Curtains are filthy, and the carpets are taped in places to repair holes. Our room was not hoovered and we were offered to have the cleaners sent in again or another room. We opted for the other room. This was not much better, no heating in the room had to ask for heaters at bedtime. The bed had never been pulled out and you could see the build up of dust along the edge of the bed. Windows were filthy inside and out. We went down for dinner and waited for 20mins before getting offered a drink. This was with several staff on duty and not a full restaurant. Food was good. This is an old hotel with spectacular views but it is very rundown.

    October stay 2020

Our trip was very comfortable and the room was large and airy with both a shower and a bath. The bed was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good and set us up for the day!
