The hotel and its bar and restaurant all have an Irish flavour. Our welcome was friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, although the ancient wardrobe's lock needed understanding. We did have some trouble with the shower doors. Breakfasts were excellent. The croissants were top=class. We decided to eat our evening meals in the restaurant and can report that the menu was varied and the food and service top quality.

The food and drinks are excellent especially the breakfasts. Unfortunately the rooms are being refurbished over time and ours was particularly tired with a part of the window structure missing. Overall the hotel is in an ideal place for a stay in Norwich and I would use it again!

Carpark directions on the website were brilliant, there was plenty of parking space and we were able to get the permit before check in. The hotel is in a great location for town centre. The room we stayed in and some parts of the building looked tired, but were clean. Our room didn't have any towels in, but reception soon sorted that out. The room was very hot. The breakfast was nice and the staff were very kind and went the extra mile to look after our dog.
