What can I say... it was wonderful. The location was perfect, right on the riverside of Ljubljana amid the hustle and bustle. You might think that noise would be an issue but with the windows closed you would have to strain to hear the activity below.
I can't recall if this was noted and I missed it, but there are no vehicles in the city center, so I had to walk a couple of blocks with my luggage- it wasn't an issue for me but something to take note of if you travel with a lot of baggage. Also- there is no elevator so you must carry your luggage up the stairs.
As a Texan, I am used to living in AC, so I always travel with a fan. I might have had a hard time sleeping without it as it was a little warm for me with the windows closed but the absolutely perfect bed- not to soft and not too hard- had me sleeping like a baby. I would also recommend that you bring a small cosmetics mirror if that is something you would need- the lighting in the bathroom is dim but the shower was FANTASTIC!
The fully well-equipped kitchen was wasted on me, but I enjoyed the convenience of the refrigerator allowing me to keep the most tantalizing berries from the central market chilled. The studio in general was spacious, very clean and very well kept. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer.
