Good for a short stay
Very good hotel, recently refurbished. Room was comfortable but shall we say 'cosy'. Food was excellent and the service was superb.

A truly great hotel.
Another amazingly good stay at the Rubens, a truly remarkable hotel. We were upgraded to a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment and with the £40 dinner credit from being a Gold Member it made it excellent value for money. The staff are delightful and I would single out Justina, Alice and Sarah for making this extra special for us.

Extremely Disappointing
We opted for a superior room and was extremely disappointed. I had specifically asked for a king bed and we had 2 singles pushed together with really nasty cheap pillows. Bathroom was tiny with a walk in shower with one large ceiling shower head so had to wash my hair even though I didn’t want to. Horrible view over an alleyway. Breakfast ok but we were sat next to the clearing station so not an overall pleasant experience. Would I recommend or return, NO and in my opinion a real rip off for £450!
