Would love to return soon
It was a strange time to be staying in London, and there were lot less people obviously- but would love to come back when all the craziness is over. Perfect location, beautiful hotel, very comfortable....the lobby, lounge and breakfast area were spacious and somehow cosy at the same time. Nice staff.

Dinner- don’t bother
Check in was smooth, found the room decorated nicely with birthday banners for my partner. However after booking a 3 course meal at the palette restaurant t went down hill dramatically! We booked online, and when we turned up at 8pm for our reservation, the wait staff knew nothing about it. The waitress was disinterested, no smile, monotone and really didn’t feel a valued guest. The waitess offered bread and water for the table, and I stated I was gluten free to which gluten free bread could be arranged. 30 mins later our water for the table arrived, no bread arrived for the duration of the meal. The starter and main I had was nice but nothing really to shout about. Dessert I ordered fruit salad and was supposed to come with cream. No cream was on my dessert. Very very slow service, lacking customer service. Don’t bother booking dinner with the restaurant- not worth it. The hotel itself was a great location, great room, and friendly hotel staff.

ab place to stay
My mum and I stayed for 3 nights, staff were really nice and couldn’t help you enough. Ran out of milk asked at reception they said they would bring it right up if needed anything just to phone the desk instead of making the trip to reception. Mum needed gluten free foods plenary on offer. Did see someone put normal bread in the toaster for gluten free only mum told the staff and was removed and replaced right away. She also was given a sheet with everything gluten free. Loads of choice also on the menu for dinning in. More on it than the normal one. Can’t fault a thing with the hotel at all. Cleaning staff was always going around. It rain so much one day we were offered hotel umbrellas too. Would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again and am fuzzy.x

Fab hotel in a great location. Very friendly staff, lovely food (we treated ourselves to afternoon tea which was superb). Easy walking distance to Royal Albert Hall and Harrods. Our room overlooked the V&A, perfect.

Not what it used to be
I’ve visited this hotel several times before, a few years back. Unfortunately, the standard is not what it used to be.

One Friday night
We stayed one Friday night at The Rembrandt as we were going to the Natural History museum to see the Wild Life Photographer exhibition. The hotel is a stones throw away from the museums and South Kensington station. We decided to start the evening with drinks in the bar along with food, both were very good. On our return back to the hotel we were again in the bar trying cocktails. The waiters in the bar were a bit slow that would be my only criticism. Overall the hotel was great with a large room and a huge bed. We will stay at the hotel again. Just to note that the hotel is going through a refurbishment at the moment so covered in scaffold but the hotel was very clear about that before we booked.
