Good city centre hotel
Excellent city centre location. Friendly staff. Good city view from room.

Small and dated room with very thin walls. Parking is useful if overpriced. Breakfast good but they kept running out of items

Location is only benefit, very dated & broken lift
Pretty dated and not in great condition. One lift didn't work - waiting for a lift was an utter nightmare, took about 20mins every time, ended up walking 11 flights with heavy bags etc, it angered everyone. Windows etc are very old. Bathroom looks pretty dated. I'd asked for a nice room as it was for a special occasion but was given a standard. Breakfast was an extra £15! Hotel was already expensive for what it was. The only benefit was it's location, right in front of the tram stops and near lots of shops and bars etc. But the area isn't very pleasant and there's lots of undesirables hanging around. If you're just after handy location, fine, but surely there's cheaper options nearby.

Overpriced; under delivered.
Manchester was a good stay. I just don’t believe this hotel was worth the money we spent. The room was adaquet to say the least. But for 2 nights without breakfast, it was a lot of money. Especially when only 2 lifts were working and there are no accessible stairs other than the fire escapes to get to the rooms. This meant there were queues to use the lifts on several occasions. Make sure you plan this in with anything scheduled for your visit! Service was okay.
