What a mess! And NOT kid-friendly
We were not aware that children were not allowed to swim after 9:00...the info book in the room states "Adult Swim 10:00-11:00PM" There wasn't another soul in the pool and the supervisor, Evan, would not allow us in the pool when we got to the pool at 9:10! Then, I asked him to have the General Mgr. call me the next day and no call was ever received. Evan has clearly not attended training on customer service. He was very smug and didn't care that we had little two boys who were devastated that they couldn't swim. Also, the parking garage and elevator were nasty. It's very inconvenient to have to carry luggage up the escalator or stairs to get to the registration desk...no elevator at ground level.

Hot Tub Beware!!!!
I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and didn't hesitate to book this again for an upcoming trip. Upon check in, the hotel since I had been last, received a complete make over face lift. It was so beautiful everything was brand new just sparkling!!! The front desk though was a little lack luster the girl didn't smile once and seemed annoyed to be there. Moving forward.. The room was spotless and had plenty of linens for all who stayed. The managers reception was wonderful. Again, having said with Embassy before we were looking forward to this. Its open bar and appetizers. It had something for everyone. We headed out for an early dinner and came back to relax in the hot tub. Entering the pool area like all pool areas you are hit with the chlorine smell, which is fine and excepted. Having two hot tub options, I peaked in the first one. It seemed overly cloudy and had floating objects... so naturally we chose the second one which did seem better. While relaxing, a housekeeper came in to do rounds. She proceeded to tells and the other patrons soaking, that a homeless man had came in earlier stripped down stark naked and proceeded to bathe and "relieve" himself sexually. I was horrified and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Sure enough front desk confirmed it and explained they were doing their best... The hot tub wasn't closed nor did they offer apologies. NEVER AGAIN!

Disappointed
We were in town for the Pacers/Warriors game and tried to check in at 6pm only to be told there were no double rooms available yet because they were still cleaning. Got to our room around 9:30pm after the game. Hotel has 4 elevators but only one on each side of the atrium seemed to be running at all times. Had to ask for toilet paper as there was only about a 1/10 of a roll in the room with no extra. No creamer for coffee. Neither telephone was working in the room to call the front desk. Thermostat couldn't be adjusted, was stuck on 65 and room was muggy. Paint cracked and peeling on bathroom ceiling. Local area has a lot to do, but definitely will find other accommodations when stay in Indy again.
