Great value and a decent breakfast included. Busy Saturday night in the pub with a live band, but we we aware of this before staying and finished around 11pm. Room was spacious with a powerful shower, though not completely separate from the main sleeping area.. the toilet was though!

Only had a very quick stay but impressed with the pub, diner and the room we had, in terms of what it was and cleanliness. Bit expensive though. Staff very friendly, helpful, polite and professional. We’d happily stay there again if we can get a deal. Only thing is pub car park is extremely limited and has half a dozen spaces. However, there is plenty of public spaces around - just need to watch timings but overnight parking seems to be ok.

Room very clean Lovely room with great bathroom within the room. Staff are fantastic. Tuesdays quiz night, so difficult to get a table for dinner, unless you book early. All food cooked fresh, even breakfast. The latter go early as because it’s cooked fresh, you could be waiting a while. It would be useful for the hotel to mention they have parking at the rear. I would have given this a 5 had it not been for the pigeon poo outdoors, that you cannot avoid and you walk it into the building. Slippers in the room would be useful for this reason. Shower did take nearly 5 minutes to run warm, not even hot. Would I stay again…yes if the path was cleaned on a daily basis

I’ve now stayed here twice, both times lovely rooms, clean warm and very comfortable. Food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. Parts of the hotel need some work and look a little frayed but I’m sure these will be addressed.
