Just what we were after
Quick easy check in, breakfast in the morning and a pool if we wanted it. For a one night stopover it was just what we needed and walking distance from the strip.

Red Roof Inn Las Vegas
I like the Red Roof Inn in Vegas, because there is no resort fee no parking fee, and dogs stay free. It is clean and the staff were friendly. However, the fire alarm went off two times within a morning when I was staying there. Once around 3am and once at 11am. It was so loud in piercing. It really hurt my ears and disturbed my sleep and frightened my dog. I jumped out of bed. When I asked the front desk about it, they say probably someone had been smoking because the alarm was from one of the other buildings. They didn't seem at all concerned, which makes me think that loud piercing alarms going off in the whole motel must happen frequently. It's not ok that other guests were violating their smoking policy, but it was terrible to have the alarm go off like that, especially if the smoke wasn't even in my building. I'm worried my dog and baby may have gotten hearing damage from how loud the alarm was. As much as I love a bargain, I may find somewhere else to stay in Vegas in the future.

Red Roof Inn Las Vegas
The stay @ the Inn wasn't too bad
The beds were comfortable and the staff was accomodating. The continental breakfast was decent, but the room was really dirty esp. the floors, the toilet was broken, the faucets leaked, and the refrigerator wasn't working well due to being left open when the room was cleaned. The wi-fi was spotty and overworked, so was hit or miss.
