Lovely Hotel
Beautiful hotel, central location in downtown Seattle. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom.

6/10 Good

Beautiful Place, but not very comfortable.
We very much enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotels. Amazing lobby, and great service. A couple areas to work on though. The bed wasn't comfortable or restful. The black out blinds were very effective. The food options on the in room menu were basic. Hidden fees covered stuff like the "free" water.

4/10 Fair

Not worth the price and not the luxury described
After just disembarking from a cruise, we were ecstatic that there was actually a room available so early in the day. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing about the stay. We had stayed at the property several years ago and it was wonderful. This time, after a multi-million dollar renovation, we were let down. The town car, which was a huge reason I chose to book here again, even with considerably higher prices, no longer exists. The quaint Georgian Tea Room has been transformed into “The G” which featured overpriced and poor tasting food, snobby hostesses, and a understaffed servers. Our bathroom reeked of urine. Our sheets were torn and didn’t look very clean. The towels were also torn. The beds were uncomfortable. No one ever did any housekeeping in the room during our stay. Additionally, we prepaid for the room, but at the end of the stay, I was handed a bill with a $30+ per day “urban service charge” that was never disclosed. Additionally, when I asked about transportation to the airport, I was told I could set up an Uber myself. Absolutely zero concierge service. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing stay and nothing like our previous stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone for the price. I have had better accommodations, amenities, and customer service at a Days Inn for a quarter of the price. I did speak to the on-site manager who seemed less than willing to address any of my concerns.

It was so amazing and the pool on the roof was my favorite. I loved that the building was old and had so much history. It was a beautiful hotel with so much character and charm.

Problem turned around.
Our Anniversary weekend was wonderful, and although there was a problem during our stay, the front desk went above and beyond to make up for it. I am a RE Broker so customer service is paramount to me and Christine got it RIGHT! Thanks. We'll be back.
