A great choice!
This is a great location in a 70’s time warp but it’s very clean and the rooms are large with modern furniture and extremely comfortable beds. The staff were super and the area is excellent.

Location location location.
This hotel is in a great location, very clean and staff provided excellent service. Its close to a cafe for breakfast called Thorntons where the food was delicious. The room we had was very clean and a good size, there was plenty of hot water and lots of towels. We rented a refrigerator for $5 a night which we found useful. The hotel is on the edge of Back Bay a very expensive area for hotels. We paid less than half the rate of those expensive hotels. Downside is hotel needs a refurb it's very dated and tired. Staff do their best on all levels though. We wanted a basic hotel in a good area which was what we got. I'd have loved to stay somewhere more stylish in Back Bay but my budget wouldn't stretch that far, so was happy we found thus hotel.

Only stayed the ninth as it was a layover. Room was absolutely fine. The hotel itself is a bit tired, the hallways especially and can become quite the maze.

Not very Good!
If you want a truly 70's experience (which I didn't) the you've come to the right place. Although the location is good, there's car parking and the service is friendly at the desk ...the hotel is clearly in need of modernisation and a complete overhaul. We were only there for 2 nights so it was bearable however a customer we saw literally walked to her room and walked straight back to reception saying she immediately wanted to check out. Personally, if it wasn't for the wife and kids saying they were ok with it for 2 nights I'd have done the same. The rooms and corridors are in a time warp with fixtures and fittings from a by gone era, with dust in the air vents to match. See the images attached for a true reflection of the hotel not the misleading hotel images!

Great location, terrible hotel
Great location for Back Bay and Fenway Park, but the hotel was very basic and really needs updating / renovation. It was like a throw back to the 70's staying here. The room was a good size, and bed was comfortable - but they were the only plus points. There was no fridge in the room, the air-con was the loudest I have ever heard, and the bathroom/toilet was very cramped. My wife is short (5' 2") and even she had to duck to get her hair wet in the shower. The decor is dated and thankfully I had my flip flops with me to avoid stepping on the carpet that looked like it was laid when the hotel was originally built. This was the worst value for money that I have had with a hotel booking in a long time. Credit must go to the friendly staff though, and to the photographer who took the photos for the pictures in the hotels ad. Would definitely not recommended this hotel to friends/family. Worth paying the extra few bucks and staying at the Hilton or Marriott along the road.

Good hotel
Good hotel overall. Good breakfast place nearby and an easy walk to the metro or downtown. Staff were helpful and friendly. Hairs left in bathroom from previous clients.

Great hotel reasonably priced
Comfortable room, friendly staff, standard hotel decor. Would have been nice to have an option of breakfast. The pool, though advertised, was not available.

Nice stay in Boston
Hotel was good value and in a very convenient area. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful Hotel had no restaurant but Thornton’s cafe nearby had great breakfasts

Excellent location, room and service
Good value considering the quality of the hotel and room and given the location. Breakfast is not included, but the hotel is very close to a number of cafes and restaurants (I would recommend Thornton's for breakfast). We arrived at midday, but were able to check in early which was helpful.

Good 6.0
Room was great for the price. Location was super and staff incredibly helpful but it was noisy all night!!! A door slammed, people shouting in corridor and the noise from above I think Bigfoot was upstairs and it ran for an hour back and forth across the room. We could just of been unlucky though.
